Bursary Program
It is through the generosity of Joni Saunders' estate and her husband Don, that Kempenfelt Bay School is introducing two $5,000/year bursaries for deserving new students entering Grades 4 to 8. The recipients must be joining KBS in September, and have demonstrated interests and talents in music and the arts. All candidates will be expected to meet Kempenfelt Bay School’s general admission requirements and participate in a short interview. In addition, each candidate will be required to write a short essay highlighting their music and/or arts interests. A Joni Sanders Scholarship is tenable for the duration of the recipient’s stay at KBS, provided he/she maintains a strong academic performance and makes a worthwhile contribution to the KBS community, through active personal involvement and responsible citizenship. Any questions regarding this program can be directed to Andy Rodford, Head of School.
Further bursary assistance is open to all students, entering all grades in September. The Board of Directors is very conscious of the need to help families who, in the absence of financial support, would be unable to consider Kempenfelt Bay School (KBS).
